Clamshot Terms of Use
Clamshot, the camera app for iPhone, by Don Chia. Last updated 20 October 2026.
Clamshot is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add a few things specific to Clamshot. Where they differ, Apple's agreement comes first.
Clamshot Plus
Clamshot Plus is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks all camera modes, along with the manual controls and console themes. It's sold through Apple, so payment, Family Sharing and refunds all go through Apple. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you get a new iPhone or reinstall Clamshot, tap RESTORE in Clamshot's settings to get Plus back for free.
Your photos are yours
Everything you shoot with Clamshot belongs to you, and I don't claim any rights to it. Please respect other people's privacy and the law when you take photos.
Provided as is
Clamshot is made by one person and comes as is, without any warranty. I do my best to keep it working, but the photos in Clamshot's album only live on your iPhone, so save the ones you care about to Photos.
Not affiliated with Nintendo
Clamshot is an independent app, inspired by the cameras on handheld consoles. It isn't made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo. Nintendo 3DS is a trademark of Nintendo. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc.
Changes
If these terms change, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
